Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, and the Department of Parks & Recreation, and Program Director Coach Fonda are pleased to announce Linden Recreation Competition Cheer Try Outs.

• Who: Ages from 5 through 17.
• What: Linden Recreation Competition Cheer Try Outs.
• When: Thursday June 11, 2026 and June 18, 2026 from 6pm until 7:30pm.
  • The season will run from August 13, 2026 through January 15, 2027.
• Where: Linden Multi-Purpose Center, which is located at 1025 John Street.

• Who: Open to all. Free public admittance with ticket.
• What: Linden 2026 FIFA World Cup Watch Party. Join us for a free outdoor fan-fest world cup watch party! VIP section is $20 per person (VIP is 21 and over only – no minors). Food Vendors, non-food vendors, kids playground area, and alcohol will be available – (2) bars. Doors open at 1pm.
• Where: Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, which is located at 400 North Wood Avenue.
• When: June 25, 2026 at 4pm.
