“The Planning Board has the responsibility for review and approval of applications for site development and subdivision of property, for approval of a Master Plan or changes to the Master Plan, reporting on a periodic review of the Master Plan, reviewing and approving applications for certificate of compliance for commercial properties, and advising the Council on changes to the Zoning Ordinance.“
The Planning Board is responsible for administering, updating and enforcing the City’s master plan which is a comprehensive, long-range plan intended to direct the community’s growth and development. It also reviews all sub-divisions and site plans.
What procedures must be followed to come before the Planning Board?
Please call the Planning Board Secretary Monday or Thursday from 10am – 3pm.
Is an attorney needed?
In most cases, yes.
