Public Notice for the request for qualifications of professional service contracts beginning January 1, 2022 was posted to the City Website this morning. Standardized submission requirements and selection criteria are on file and available in the Purchasing Department, City Hall, 301 N. Wood Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Vaccinations, Third Doses & Testing – Tuesday, September 21st

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Super Health Pharmacy once again to provide Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations and third doses. Walkups permitted, but you must first fill out the consent form online by clicking here.

  • Who: Open to everyone 12 years and older (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). ID is required.
  • What: Pfizer and Moderna vaccination and third doses for COVID-19.
  • When: Tuesday, September 21st from 10am until 4pm.
  • Where: Linden PAL, 400 Maple Avenue, Linden NJ 07036
  • How: Fill out this consent form prior to arriving to the Vaccination Clinic.

Mayor Armstead Invites You To Attend The 2nd Annual Polish Heritage Festival

Mayor Derek Armstead, The City of Linden, Uptown Linden, and the Department of Parks & Recreation are hosting the 2nd Annual 2021 Polish Heritage Festival on September 18th from 1pm – 9pm at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, located at 400 North Wood Avenue.

  • Homeowner/Tenant Expectations when applying for help from FEMA.
  • Public Assistance – Assistance to state and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster damaged facilities.

Linden Residents Can Now Receive FEMA Major Disaster Assistance Following Hurricane Ida

The fastest and easiest way to apply is by clicking here or by downloading the FEMA App on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. If it is not possible to apply online, then call 800-621-3362 (TTY: 800-462-7585). The toll-free telephone lines operate from 6am to 10pm CDT, seven days a week. Those who use a relay service such as a videophone, InnoCaption or CapTel should update FEMA with their specific number assigned to that service.
