Annual Citywide Easter Goody Bag Grab & Go

Mayor Derek Armstead, the Mayor’s Youth Commission and the Department of Parks & Recreation proudly host this year’s annual Citywide Easter Goody Bag Grab & Go, with prizes courtesy of Phillips 66.

Who: For Linden resident students in Pre-K through 8th grade.
When: March 30th and March 31st, 2021 from 9am until 6pm (while supplies last)
Where: John T Gregorio Recreation Center, 330 Helen Street, Linden, NJ 07036
How: Must have your school ID. If student does not have an ID, then parent to provide their ID.

Notice RE Vacancy for the position of Laborer 1 in the Department of Building & Grounds

Please be advised that there is a vacancy for 1 Laborer position the Buildings and Grounds Department. (job description and requirements below). This position is full time for 35 hours per week at the hourly rate $15.00. Please post this in an area available to all employees. At this time, these positions will also be publicly advertised and open to all City of Linden residents. The City of Linden has a residency requirement and applicants will be required to show proof of residency in order to qualify for any position.

March 31st Food Drive for Linden Residents in Need

Mayor Derek Armstead, the Mayor’s Youth Commission, The Kanishka Foundation, the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services, and Advanced Greek are proudly hosting a Food Drive for 250 Linden families in need.
