Due to an electrical fire, City Hall will be closed, Friday March 12, 2021. All non-City Hall buildings and departments will remain open. 911 is up and running, as it goes through the Union County Dispatch.
Catholic Charities launched a new program called Hope and Healing. The program enables individuals and families who have been impacted by COVID-19 to receive help from their crisis counselors. They also provide information and referrals to based on need as well as virtual workshops for the community.
First 1,200 vehicles will receive shelf-safe food, dairy and fresh produce on a first come, first served basis.
One food distribution per vehicle, while supplies last.
Please make sure to clear out the vehicle’s trunk prior to arrival to make room for food bags.
Bring one (1) proof of NJ residency, such as a utility bill, driver’s license, ID card, etc.
Event will take place rain or shine.

Trinitas will notify the individuals of a scheduled appointment as vaccine supplies are available and appointment slots exist. Please note that everyone must meet the eligibility criteria to receive the vaccine.
At about 10:30am this morning, two heroic Linden residents saved the life of this beautiful Yorkshire Terrier when they saw him weaving in and out of traffic on Wood Avenue. They brought him to City Hall, where he is currently being taken care of by our City Clerk’s office.
