Two Free Concerts in Union County This Weekend!

Two free concerts span the world of music from experimental jazz to the Big 80’s in Union County this weekend. Come and enjoy free, live music!

  • Friday, June 4th at 7:30pm – explore the unique vision and richly mesmerizing style of renowned jazz bassist Esperanza Spalding.
  • Saturday, June 5th at 6pm – kick off the evening with comedian Amy Colon and then kick out the jams with the 80’s tribute band Rubix Kube. This special Pride Month show comes with a “PRIDE in a Box” collection of Pride-themed items for attendees to display and share.

Both concerts will take place at the Union County Vocational Technical School – 1776 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.

Admission is free but registration is required online to reserve a spot here.

These shows are part of Union County’s series of free drive-in concerts presented by the Union County Board of Commissioners, specially arranged for residents to enjoy live music in a community setting while preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. More details are available at the registration link.
