The Linden Fire Department and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation invite you to attend Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters, honoring fallen fighter Lewis H. Haskell and other heroes.

  • What: Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters. Light up red and share your why. From April 26 through May 3, 2026, join the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in honoring America’s fallen fire heroes by lighting up red. Landmarks, fire departments, businesses, organizations, and families are invited to take part in this nationwide tribute leading up to National Fall Firefighters Memorial Weekend. Light up-and share why. Tell the story behind your light and help us shine red in all 50 states to show we honor and remember the fallen.

  • What: Seated Fitness.
    • Seatercise Chair Aerobics (30 minutes). Burn calories, build strength and increase your heart rate in Build a Body’s chair aerobics class executing functional exercises. If you can sit, this is the workout for you!
    • Seatercise Chair Aerobics and Yoga (60 minutes). Improve your flexibility, circulation, and concentration. Reduce stress and joint strain, all while boosting your mood in the chair. If you can sit, this workout is for you!

  • What: Seven-week Self Defense Clinic with Shihan Rahim and assistant instructors. The Self Defense Clinic will teach striking, katas, ground movement, and escape techniques

    • Youth (5 through 12 years old) – 5pm until 6pm.
