The City of Linden, Council Conference Meeting Prior to Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 6:00 pm. The City of Linden, Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The meetings will be conducted electronically. Attendance will be via RingCentral due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. At the Conference meeting, official action will not be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session. At the Council meeting, official action will be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session.

Food Distribution Event – Tuesday, December 29th at 9am

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Breadsmith and Gargiulo Produce are providing a drive through and walk-up food distribution event to all Union County residents affected by COVID-19 on Tuesday, December 29th. Event Details

  • First 2,000 vehicles will receive shelf-safe food and fresh produce on a first come, first served basis.
  • One food distribution per household/vehicle, while supplies last.
  • Please make sure to clear out the vehicle’s trunk prior to arrival to make room for food bags and/or boxes.
  • Bring a cart for the walk-up.
  • Refrigerate any perishable items shortly after distribution.
  • Bring one (1) proof of NJ residency, such as a utility bill, driver’s license, ID card, etc.
  • Event will take place rain or shine.

The County of Union is hosting two emergency holiday food distributions this Saturday, December 19th; one drive-thru and one walk-up.
