November 10, 2025 Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting CANCELLATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the City of Linden, Zoning Board of Adjustment’s scheduled meeting on Monday, November 10, 2025 has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum. All business scheduled for this meeting will be conducted at the next scheduled meeting without further notice. The next Zoning Board meeting will be held on December 8, 2025. With any questions, contact Board Secretary Daniel Sobolewski at zoningboard@linden-nj.gov.

2026 Professional Service Contracts Request for Qualifications for the City of Linden

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN for the request for qualifications of professional service contracts beginning January 1, 2026.

Submission Only Available through the City of Linden’s eProcurement Platform.

  • All solicitations may ONLY be obtained on the City of Linden’s eProcurement portal at https://app.munivendor.com.
  • Sealed offers shall be submitted via the City of Linden’s eProcurement portal https://app.munivendor.com up to and until Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. (prevailing time). The City’s eProcurement portal will not enable any submissions for these solicitations after Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.
  • Only offers submitted through the MuniVendor eProcurement portal at https://app.munivendor.com will be accepted. No physical, manual, paper, nor any other type of electronic response type will be accepted.

The Members of the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will meet on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10 AM at its Administrative Offices, 5005 South Wood Avenue, Linden, New Jersey.

The agenda of the meeting is to award a bid for the following contract: Flood Mitigation Improvements (Rebid) to Hall Construction Co. Inc., of Farmingdale, New Jersey, for the low bid amount of $2,189,000, all of which is allowable for funding through the NJWB and any other matters that may come before Board Members.

New Job Opportunity Available at the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority

  • The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Laboratory Technician position at major wastewater treatment facility in Linden, NJ. Laboratory is NJDEP certified to analyze 25+ parameters. Position will entail analyzing wastewater and sludge samples according to standard operating procedures. Required to operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, troubleshooting, calibration checks, sample preservation and chemical reagents preparation. Perform and report calculated sample results and complete data entry. The salary range is from $60,958 – 76,690 based on qualifications and experience. Preference given to residents of the City of Linden and Borough of Roselle. Qualifications: A.S. in Chem., Bio. or Env. Science, with 3 yrs. exp. in a wastewater laboratory or B.S. Degree in Chem., Bio. or Env. Science with 1 yr. exp. in a wastewater laboratory.

State Planning Commission: Notice of Public Hearings

Please take notice, the State Planning Commission shall conduct six public hearings for the purpose of receiving testimony on the draft Final New Jersey’s State Development and Redevelopment Plan and the draft Infrastructure Needs Assessment pursuant to the State Planning Act at N.J.S.A. 52:18A-202(c) as set forth in the State Planning Rules at N.J.A.C. 15:30-5.2.

  • The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Wastewater Plant Maintenance Mechanic. Duties include but are not limited to preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment for the plant. Industrial Maintenance knowledge and experience are a must. The salary range is from $71,774 to $87,505 based on qualifications and experience. Preference given to residents of the City of Linden and Borough of Roselle.

End Date: August 11, 2025 beginning at 2pm with items closing at scheduled intervals until conclusion.
