Hearing

A Special Council meeting of the City Council of the City of Linden has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be conducted in person. Official action will be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session. The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

1. Public Hearing on the City of Linden’s application to the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at James Dobson Park.
2. Consideration of Resolution(s) enabling an application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection for improvements to James Dobson Park.
3. Other matters pertaining to the public hearing or resolution.

Notice of this meeting stating the date, place and time, has been disseminated as required under the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975.” Electronic notice was provided on February 18, 2026 to The Home News Tribune, and The Star Ledger. The same information was posted on the City’s website, and the bulletin board.

Please take notice, the State Planning Commission shall conduct six public hearings for the purpose of receiving testimony on the draft Final New Jersey’s State Development and Redevelopment Plan and the draft Infrastructure Needs Assessment pursuant to the State Planning Act at N.J.S.A. 52:18A-202(c) as set forth in the State Planning Rules at N.J.A.C. 15:30-5.2.

This notice fulfills the requirements of the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq., and the requirements of the State Planning Rules, N.J.A.C. 15:30-1.7(c).

The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will conduct a hearing for the purpose of establishing its 2025 rates and charges. The hearing will take place at 12pm on April 29, 2025 at the Authority’s office, located at 5005 South Wood Avenue, Linden NJ 07036. In accordance with its Municipal Agreement with the City of Linden and the Borough of Roselle and related Municipal Ordinances as amended April 21, 2015, ORD. PURPOSE: The City of Linden is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Dorothy Curry Ford Park located at 230 Chandler Avenue, Linden NJ and St. Marks Street and East Elizabeth Avenue intersection in The City of Linden.

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Linden proposes to create the following new facilities at St. Mark’s Park; and/or to renovate the following facilities: Dorothy Curry Ford Park and/or to remove the following facilities: Dorothy Curry Ford Park.
