Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with St. Georges Family & Specialty Pharmacies to provide COVID-19 vaccinations. Walkups permitted, but you must first fill out the registration form online by clicking here.

Informational Meeting on February 16th for the NJ Civil Service Commission Police Entrance Exam on February 28th

The Linden Police Department will be hosting an informational meeting at the Linden Public Library on February 16th @ 5:30pm.

Officers will be on hand to answer any questions a potential applicant might have about eligibility, background investigations, physical requirements, and training. For anyone interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement, our goal is to make sure you know exactly what to expect throughout the process. Register for the event by clicking here!

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic – Thursday, February 10th

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Super Health Pharmacy once again to provide COVID-19 vaccinations. Walkups permitted, but you must first fill out the consent form online by clicking here.

Free Income Tax Help

The City of Linden Department of Parks & Recreation announces that they are partnering with AARP Tax-Aide to offer free income tax help to all Linden residents. All volunteers are IRS certified and can address most issues asked by their clients.

Appointments are needed. Appointments are on Tuesdays, starting February 15th through April 12th, at 9:30am, 10am, 10:30am or 11am at the John T. Gregorio Center, 330 Helen Street. To schedule an appointment, call 908-474-8600 between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Participants must bring a copy of last year’s tax return, Social Security card, photo ID, children’s Social Security cards, all W-2’s, 1099s’ and any other documents necessary to complete their tax return.

Significant Snow Forecast – Residents Are Reminded to Remove Vehicles From Designated Streets

Several inches of snow are expected to fall in Linden. Residents are reminded that vehicles must be removed from designated snow emergency routes once snow begins. Vehicles not in compliance will be towed. TOWED VEHICLES CANNOT BE RELEASED UNTIL MONDAY.

Alternate side of the street parking will be suspended today, Friday January 28th as storm preparations are made.

“Mary Poppins Jr.” at McManus!

The McManus Middle School Drama Club presents “Mary Poppins Jr.” on February 10th and 11th at 7pm.

Public sale for tickets will begin on Saturday, January, 29th. When you purchase tickets, the site will automatically buffer and include two seats between each party for social distancing. Tickets are $8 for children and $10 for adults.
