It is with great appreciation that I thank George Capodagli, his Meridia Lifestyles, Lifestyles II and their team members for their generous donation towards our Annual Thanksgiving Give-away.

They have supported this effort over the last six years by donating turkeys and their fixings. On behalf of our families in need, especially this year with the high rising costs of food, we thank them for their continued generosity and participation in helping the Linden community thrive!

6th Annual Holiday Breakfast with Santa

Mayor Derek Armstead, the Mayor’s Youth Commission, and Linden FMBA Locals 34 and 234 invite Linden families to the 6th Annual Holiday Breakfast with Santa.

  • When: December 10th, 2022, from 8am until 11am.
  • Where: John T. Gregorio Center, 330 Helen Street.
  • Who: Proceeds to support “Miracles for Myeloma.”
  • How: Registration ends December 7th, 2022. Kids eat free through age 12. Ages 13 and over is $5. For more information, please call (908) 474-8493. Proof of Linden residency is required.

Community Wide Garage Sale to be Held in 3rd & 8th Wards – All Fees Waived

The City of Linden is hosting a community-wide garage sale in the 3rd and 8th Wards on October 1, 2022.

  • The City of Linden is waiving fees for permits for this community-wide garage sale.
  • The 3rd and 8th Ward garage sale shall not impact a resident’s right to conduct up to two garage sales in a year.
  • Chapter 4-3.6 shall still apply, limiting one singled faced sign containing not more than four square feet in total area to be placed upon the premises where the sale is being conducted, and further prohibiting any other signs and either public or private property.

2022 National Night Out

  • When: Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm.
  • Where: Linden City Hall, which is located at 301 North Wood Avenue. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at the John T. Gregorio Recreation Center located at 330 Helen Street.

Linden COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic – Thursday June 30th

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Super Health Pharmacy to provide Linden residents ages 3 and up with COVID-19 vaccinations. Walkups permitted, but you must first fill out the consent form online by clicking here.
