Mayors Wellness Campaign Committee

Mayors who make a commitment to the Mayors Wellness Campaign (MWC) inspire their residents to live their healthiest lives. They lead campaigns to create innovative wellness initiatives for residents of all ages. Each year, communities that participate in the annual Mayors Wellness Campaign complete a comprehensive application outlining the research they’ve done to identify their community health needs and highlights the actions the municipality has taken to make their community a healthier place to live, work, age, and play.

The Linden Mayors Wellness Committee, which includes members of the Mayor’s Office, the Health Department, and the Recreation Department, is proud to announce that through their efforts, the City of Linden has been awarded the designation of “Healthy Town Up and Coming” for 2024. The Committee intends to continue to partner with City departments and community organizations to offer a wide variety of health and wellness opportunities and events to our diverse community.
