The Legends of Linden Free Music Event

The Legend of Linden Free Music Event initially scheduled for June 14 will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12pm until 5pm at the Promenade (weather permitting).

Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, the Department of Parks & Recreation, Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts invite you to attend the Legends of Linden free music event.

  • What: Legends of Linden free music event. Live music concert featuring legendary musicians and singers from Linden, New Jersey. Artists appearing: Twisted Band, Trusol, Dru Kuvington, and Curt Jones & Aurra. Food and beverage trucks onsite.

The City of Linden 2025 Polish Festival!

Mayor Derek Armstead, Council President Michele Yamakaitis, the City of Linden, Uptown Linden, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Union County and the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union present the City of Linden 2025 Polish Festival. Bringing the Polish community together for one big event!

  • What: The City of Linden 6th Annual 2025 Polish Festival! Honorary Patronage of the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in New York. Special Event Slavic Invasion, Live Polish Music and DJ, Children’s Activities, Authentic Polish Food, Beer and Wine Tent, Polish Vendors. Bringing the Polish community together for one big event!

2025 Latin Festival

Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, Uptown Linden Inc. and the Department of Parks & Recreation presents the Linden 2025 Latin Festival. Bringing the Latin community together for one big event!

  • Who: Fun for all ages!
  • What: Latin Festival. Vendors, food, live music, DJ and karaoke, dance contest, ISPW wrestling event for the kids, and an Auto and bike show competition sponsored by RIX magazine! Also visit our beer and wine garden. The Auto and Bike Show will take place in parking lot behind CVS.
  • When: Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12pm until 7pm. This is a rain or shine event.

Unity Day – A Juneteenth Celebration

  • What: Haitian Heritage Month Celebration. We would like to cordially invite you to experience a taste of Haiti. Music, culture, dancers, food vendors, raffles, and more!
  • When & Where: The city of linden will be hosting celebrations throughout the month:
    • Haitian Heroes Banners and flag poles decoration. Thursday, May 1 at North Wood Avenue.
    • Senior Luncheon. Monday, May 12, from 11:30am until 1pm at the John T. Gregorio Center, which is located at 330 Helen Street.
    • Flag raising and Celebration day. Sunday, May 18, from 4pm until 8pm at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, which is located at 400 North Wood Avenue.
    • Senior Breakfast (Kozé Lakay). Saturday, May 31, from 9:30am until 11:30am at the Linden Multi-Purpose Center, which is located at 1025 John Street.
