Notice of Auction of Surplus Property No Longer Needed by the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-35 and Resolutions 37-25 & 67-24 the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will conduct a Public Auction Sale of surplus property that is no longer needed for public use. Online auction site.

Start Date: May 27, 2025 at 9am
End Date: June 3, 2025 beginning at 2pm with items closing at scheduled intervals until conclusion.

All Bidders are required to pre-register for bidding at the auction website here. All bidders in this auction agree that they should read and fully understand the terms and conditions outlined on the site and agree to be bound thereby. All items are sold “as is, where is” condition, free from any guarantee or warranty. The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid submitted. All sales are final.

Notice RE Public Hearing – Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority

The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority will conduct a hearing for the purpose of establishing its 2025 rates and charges. The hearing will take place at 12pm on April 29, 2025 at the Authority’s office, located at 5005 South Wood Avenue, Linden NJ 07036. In accordance with its Municipal Agreement with the City of Linden and the Borough of Roselle and related Municipal Ordinances as amended April 21, 2015, ORD. No. 59-18, and based upon the federally approved user charge system adopted in 1979, the Authority has determined that the 2025 allocations of its budgeted costs result in the following proposed schedule of charges for the year 2025 – click here to view proposed schedule.

Purchasing / Contract Manager – Full Time

Responsibilities include administrating the Authority’s purchasing system in conformance with the public purchasing law, reviewing bid specifications, review the performance of vendors and contractors and assist the Financial Manger and Office Manager as needed. Qualifications: experience in purchasing regulations under the N.J. Public Contracts Law, excellent writing skills and experienced computer skills (Microsoft Office). Qualified Purchasing Agent State Certification is required. Monday–Friday 8:30AM-4:00PM, benefits, salary based on experience and qualifications. EOE. Municipal Authority seeking person for diversified office duties. Must have skills and experience in the following areas: computer word processing, excel, phone reception and interaction with the public. Preference to the residents of the service area Linden and Roselle. Must be New Jersey resident.  E.O.E. 

Notice RE Laboratory Technician Position at the Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority

Opening for Laboratory Technician position at major wastewater treatment facility in Linden, NJ. Laboratory is NJDEP certified to analyze 25+ parameters. Position will entail analyzing wastewater and sludge samples according to standard operating procedures. Required to operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, troubleshooting, calibration checks, sample preservation and chemical reagents preparation. Perform and report calculated sample results and complete data entry.

Qualifications: A.S. Degree in Chem., Bio. or Env. Science with 3 yrs. exp. in a wastewater laboratory or B.S. Degree in Chem., Bio. or Env. Science with 1 yr. exp. in a wastewater laboratory.
