Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority

The Linden Roselle Sewerage Authority, created in 1948, services the City of Linden and the Borough of Roselle. It was established to contract and operate wastewater treatment and interceptor facilities to collect, treat and dispose of sewage generated by the municipalities. The Authority’s service area is 13 square miles and it services a residential population of 60,000 and a diverse industrial community. The Authority also administers a state approved Industrial Pretreatment Program.

“The Sewerage Authority shall have and exercise all the powers and perform all the duties provided for by the Sewerage Authorities Law and any other statutes heretofore or hereafter enacted and applicable thereto.”
