Annual Halloween Car Show
Please join us at Aviation Plaza tonight at the Annual Halloween Car Show! Treats will be given out to children from 6pm until 8:30pm.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on October 12, 2021 in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq., the Planning Board of the City of Linden will conduct its regular meeting at 6:30 pm.
At this meeting the Board will vote on Resolution; namely SD764-21 – 1009 Wheatsheaf Road – Woodlawn Partners, and hear two Applications, namely, SP-1140-21 –327 W. St. Georges Avenue – IJAS LLC, SP 1141-21 – 522, 526, 532 & 534 E. Elizabeth Avenue – Grunwald Properties. The Board will also hear Redevelopment Plan on Block 288, Lots 3, 4.01, 4.02, 8.01, 9, 10 and 12; and Block 321, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 (West Elizabeth Avenue). Copies of the filed Plans submitted by the Applicant can be reviewed on the City website here. Copies of any exhibits that will be utilized by the Applicant at the hearing will also be made available at the aforementioned link at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.

The City of Linden, Shade Tree Commission meeting has been scheduled for 7pm. The Meeting will be conducted virtually via Zoom due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Official action may be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session. Click here to join the meeting.

PSE&G’s Clean Energy Future Energy Efficiency Program is offering enhanced incentives to help residential and business customers impacted by Tropical Storm Ida. Customers located in disaster areas designated by FEMA, who receive electric or gas service from PSE&G are eligible for these enhanced incentives. Residential customers participating in the program can qualify for an additional $200 for qualifying HVAC and water heating equipment and an additional $50 for qualifying refrigerators and clothes washers. Commercial and industrial customers are eligible for up to a 50% increase in existing incentives for qualifying equipment.
Customers are eligible to receive additional incentives to purchase qualifying energy-efficient equipment and appliances between September 1st and November 15th, 2021, and will be required to complete and submit a certification form to receive enhanced incentives on qualifying energy-efficient equipment and appliances purchased within this timeframe.
