Public Works Schedule Change Alert

Please note the Department of Public Works (DPW) upcoming schedule change in Remembrance of Memorial Day. Click here to view and/or download the Public Works modified schedule for the Remembrance of Memorial Day. DPW will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. The holiday closure will facilitate the following changes to our operations and collections for the week of May 25.

  • Cardboard / Mixed Paper Recycling
    • Districts 1, 2, 3, 9, and 10. Brown carts will be collected on Tuesday, May 26.
    • Districts 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Brown carts will be collected on Wednesday, May 27.
  • Sanitation (household waste) Collections
    • Districts 1, 2, 3, 9, and 10. Sanitation (green carts) will be collected on Thursday, May 28.
    • Districts 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Sanitation (green carts) will be collected on Friday, May 29.
  • The Recycling Center and DPW bulk waste drop-off site will be closed on Monday, May 25. Both facilities will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
  • There will be no bagged grass collection this week.
