NJDEP Public Survey on “Forever Chemicals”

PFAS Water Survey- Help NJDEP Understand PFAS in Our Drinking Water

The survey on “forever chemicals” or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) is part of the Department of Environmental Protection’s work on addressing PFAS contamination throughout the state and aims to collect as much diverse data as possible to create targeted and intentional educational and outreach materials. Public feedback is essential to ensure that the voices of your community are reflected in our findings and recommendations.

These man-made chemicals are sometimes called “forever chemicals” and are sometimes found in drinking water supplies. NJDEP is looking to gather local input to guide public health planning, education, and response efforts.

The survey is open through Sunday, November 30, 2025, is anonymous and takes just a few minutes.

Click here to participate. Thank you for being an active part of your community’s well-being.
