There are appointments available online throughout the week. Please spread the word to your family, friends and neighbors who live or work in Union County.  Additionally, walk-ups are available at Downs Hall, Kean University Tuesday, May 4th and Thursday, May 6th starting at 3 pm until 6 pm each day. Please bring your ID and proof of address.

Serving Homeless & At Risk Veterans

Services include benefits, claims, housing, men’s and women’s clothing, lunch and other services.

The Office for Persons with Disabilities & Special Needs will be hosting a bookmark design contest. This contest will run from April 1 to April 30 and is open to all students in grades 6-12 living in Union County. The top rated bookmarks for each age group will be used to promote Autism Acceptance Month in 2022.

Bookmarks should be 2” x 7” and may be created in any 2D art medium. Designs should focus on honoring Autism Acceptance Month. Students who wish to submit bookmarks may do so in person at the drop off box located within the Union County Administration Building lobby or by clicking here.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has announced their Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant – Phase 4.​ This grant is open to small and medium sized businesses and nonprofits with up to 50 FTEs. The Union County Board of Commissioners, the Village Super Market of Springfield Township, New Jersey, and Gargiulo Produce are providing a drive through food distribution event to all Union County residents affected by COVID-19 on Saturday, April 17th. Event Details

• First 1,200 vehicles will receive boxes of produce and shelf-stable food on a first come first served basis.
• One food distribution per vehicle, while supplies last.
• Please make sure to clear out the vehicle’s trunk prior to arrival to make room for food bags.
• Refrigerate any perishable items shortly after distribution.
• Bring one (1) proof of NJ residency, such as a utility bill, driver’s license, ID card, etc.
• Event will take place rain or shine.

The County of Union will hold vaccination clinics on April 8th, April 9th and April 10th for residents of Linden. If you are a resident of Linden, you may call 908-613-7829 to set up an appointment to receive the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination. Proof of residency is required. Please call today.
