Public Hearing Announcement – Stewardship Application

PURPOSE: The City of Linden is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Wilson Park Recreation Center located at 1100-1198 Summit Terrace near the Summit Terrace and Morningside Ave Intersection in Linden, New Jersey.

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Linden proposes improvements at Wilson Park Recreation Center: Wilson Park Pond Dredging and Aeration. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found here.

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on January 16, 2024 at 7pm, EST. The meeting will be held In Person as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
