The City of Linden, Council Conference Meeting Prior to Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 6:00 pm. The City of Linden, Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The meetings will be conducted electronically. Attendance will be via RingCentral due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. At the Conference meeting, official action will not be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session. At the Council meeting, official action will be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session.

The City of Linden, Council Conference Meeting Prior to Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 6:00 pm. The City of Linden, Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 7:00 pm. The meetings will be conducted electronically. Attendance will be via RingCentral due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Official action will not be taken and portions of the meeting may be held in executive session.

Notice RE Virtual July City Caucus, Conference & Council Meetings

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq., and the Governor of New Jersey’s Executive Orders 102 and 104 regarding COVID-19 the City of Linden will conduct its regular meetings virtually, due to the current health problems limiting personal contact and public gatherings through electronic communication equipment to facilitate public comments or questions.

Members of the public may access the meetings from their computer, tablet or smartphone by registering in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Notice regarding a Special City Council Meeting on May 28, 2020 at 6pm

A Special Meeting of the City Council, City of Linden has been scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2020, 6pm. The purpose of the meeting is as follows:

  • Review and Acceptance of the Rail Freight Assistance Program (RFAP) Agreement.
  • Approval of a Financial Agreement with Clayton relative to the 10% in matching funds for said Project.

Official action may be taken.

In order to participate in this meeting, you must register for this meeting by 3pm EST on Thursday May 28, 2020. Previous registrations will not allow you to participate in this meeting. Click here to register for this meeting.

Notice regarding the May 2020 City Conference & City Council Meetings

In order to practice safe social distancing due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the May, 2020 City of Linden City Conference and City Council Meetings will be held digitally. In order to participate please register for the meeting by following the links below. Please do so using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You will receive an email with a personalized link to the meeting. During the Tuesday Public meeting, comment will be allowed on the Amendment to the 2020 Budget, Ordinance #64-27, and during the public comment session. Once the public comment session begins no new attendees will be allowed in.

Linden Board of Education Revised Meeting Notice

The Regular Meeting of the Linden Board of Education scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020, has been changed from 7:00 p.m. at Linden High School to 4:30 p.m. at the Administration Building Conference Room, 2 E. Gibbons Street, Linden, NJ. 

THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD VIA an online medium platform. The Public can view the meeting remotely by going to the Linden Public Schools website at www.linden.k12.nj.us  During the PUBLIC COMMENT portion of the meeting, the Public can call into the meeting with the following number and PIN with any questions or comments as follows:
