PURPOSE: The City of Linden is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Dorothy Curry Ford Park located at 230 Chandler Avenue, Linden NJ and St. Marks Street and East Elizabeth Avenue intersection in The City of Linden.

PROJECT SCOPE: The City of Linden proposes to create the following new facilities at St. Mark’s Park; and/or to renovate the following facilities: Dorothy Curry Ford Park and/or to remove the following facilities: Dorothy Curry Ford Park. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found here.

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on January 21st, 2025 during the regularly scheduled 7:00 p.m. council meeting. The meeting will be held in person as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting.
