Notice RE January 11, 2022 Planning Board Meeting

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on January 11, 2022 in accordance with the Open Public Meeting Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq., the Planning Board of the City of Linden will conduct its regular meeting at 6:30 pm.

At this meeting the Board will vote on Resolutions; namely SP 1143-21 – 800 W. Edgar Rd. – Linden Development LLC, and hear three Applications, namely, SP-1084B-21 – New Grasselli Road – PGII/GAR Tremley Property Two Urban Renewal LLC, SP 1135-21 – 721 W. Linden Avenue – RHS, and SP 1144-21 120 E. Price Street – 120 E. Price Street LLC.

Copies of the filed Plans submitted by the Applicant can be reviewed on the City website here. Copies of any exhibits that will be utilized by the Applicant at the hearing will also be made available at the aforementioned link at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.

COVID-19 Test Clinics – Tuesday through Thursday (January 4th, 5th & 6th) This Week With Vault Health

Mayor Derek Armstead has partnered with Vault Health again to provide Linden residents with COVID-19 testing.

  • Who: Open to all. ID is required.
  • What: COVID-19 Testing.
  • When: Tuesday January 4th, Wednesday January 5th and Thursday January 6th from 8am until 6pm. Please note that doors close at 5:45pm.
  • Where: JTG Center, 330 Helen Street, Linden NJ 07036
  • How: Please make sure to bring a smartphone (or other Internet enabled device with a web browser) to complete the online registration upon arrival.

Notice RE New Job Positions Available In The City of Linden

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all applications must be obtained online by clicking here.

Once completed all applications must be returned via email no later than 4:30pm on Thursday, January 13th, 2021. In addition to electronic submission, applications can be mailed to City of Linden City Clerks’ Office, 301 North Wood Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036. Applications that are mailed must be postmarked by the application deadline or they will be returned to the applicant. Please be advised that all employment applications must be completed at the time of submission. Please include copies of resumes, proof of qualifications or any additional documents you wish to submit with your application.
