Mayor Derek Armstead in collaboration with the Mayor’s Youth Commission, Communities In Cooperation, Inc, Department of Parks & Recreation, Local Businesses, and Community Based Partners present Mayor’s Backpack Giveaway!

  • Who: Linden’s School age residents.
  • What: Mayor’s Backpack Giveaway. Children must be present to receive a bag. One bag per child. While supplies last! There will also be a special guest performance by Saul Paul.
  • When: Monday, August 25, 2025 from 5pm until 7pm.
  • Where: Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, which is located at 400 North Wood Avenue. Check in starts at the rear in CVS parking lot.
  • How: Online registration for this event is now closed. Proof of Linden residency will be required at check in to receive a ticket for a bag. One bag per child. While supplies last!
