Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden, and the Department of Parks & Recreation are pleased to offer Technology Training Workshop.

• What: Technology Training Workshop. This program is made possible in part by a 2026 Heart (history, education, arts reaching thousands) grant form the Union County Board of County Commissioners. Presenter will be Valerie Porter.
  • Session 1: Understanding AI cloning and how to spot it. The main focus will be how to protectyourself and know the AI cloning warning signs.
  • Session 2: Recognizing SCAM warning signs and what to do if you click. The main focus will be how to protect yourself, how to spot the scam, reduce future scams and how to block it.
• When: Friday, October 2, and October 9, 2026 from 1pm until 2pm.
