Mayor Derek Armstead, the City of Linden and the Linden Opioid Eradication and Abatement Initiative invite you to attend the Safe Haven Community Kickoff. The purpose of the Safe Haven Community Kickoff is to identify opportunities for collaboration, increase awareness and help shape future prevention and education efforts within the City of Linden. Together we can make a difference by building awareness, strengthening partnerships and inspiring action.

- What: The Linden Opioid Eradication and Abatement Initiative is a City of Linden initiative focused on education, prevention, awareness, and community engagement related to substance use, alcohol misuse, and mental health challenges affecting individuals, families and the community. Join us to increase community awareness, promote prevention and education, identify community needs and priorities, build partnerships and collaboration, connect residents with resources, and strengthen families and community well-being.
- Where: First Baptist Church of Linden, which is located at 929 Dill Avenue.
- When: Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10am until 12pm.
