The Linden Fire Department and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation invite you to attend Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters, honoring fallen fighter Lewis H. Haskell and other heroes.

• What: Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters. Light up red and share your why. From April 26 through May 3, 2026, join the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation in honoring America’s fallen fire heroes by lighting up red. Landmarks, fire departments, businesses, organizations, and families are invited to take part in this nationwide tribute leading up to National Fall Firefighters Memorial Weekend. Light up-and share why. Tell the story behind your light and help us shine red in all 50 states to show we honor and remember the fallen.

• How: Click here to sign up and find more ways to get involved in the 2026 National Fallen Firefighters Memorial weekend. Linden Fire Department will provide 1 Porch Red Light to Linden residents who wish to participate. Please pick up this light at Fire Headquarters, 302 South Wood Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am until 5pm. You must present an ID as proof of residency.
