Please note the Department of Public Works (DPW) upcoming schedule change in Recognition of Labor Day. The holiday closure will facilitate the following changes to our operations and collections for September 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2026.
Bottles and Cans Recycling
Districts 1, 2, 3, 9, and 10. Blue carts will be collected on Tuesday, September 8.
Districts 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Blue carts will be collected on Wednesday, September 9.
Sanitation (household waste) Collections
Districts 1, 2, 3, 9, and 10. Sanitation (green carts) will be collected on Thursday, September 10.
Districts 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Sanitation (green carts) will be collected on Friday, September 11.
The Recycling Center and DPW bulk waste drop-off site will be closed on Monday, September 7. Both facilities will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.
There will be no bagged grass collection this week.
