Former Linden Council President Myles J. Hergert, 92, of Forked River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 1, 1933, in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Louis and Emilie (Rapasky) Hergert.
